Linda Dennis is an Australian artist living and working in Tokyo.
Installation, video, public art, and collaborative projects are important means of expression in her creative practice. Since 2000, she has been working on a series of artworks based on the theme of touch.
She is interested in exploring “touch” in connection with creative expression. She considers expression as a ‘transference’ of something from a person’s inner world to their outer world. For example, the transformation of a thought or feeling into a form which exists outside the body. The involvement of our ‘physical body’ in this process, through the vehicle of touch, is of particular interest to her.
